On April 24, a regular meeting of the GTUA project “Green Transformation of Ukrainian Universities” began at the , where Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics is represented by the Dean of the Faculty of Automation and Computerized Technologies, Professor Oleksandr Fylypenko and Associate Professor of the Department of Occupational Safety and Health Hanna Proniuk. The project also involves leading Ukrainian technical universities, the Ukrainian National Agency for Higher Education Quality Assurance, and the Unite! Together, they are working to create green campus standards.

The workshop was organised within the framework of the «Green Transformation in Ukrainian Universities» project, which is run with funding from the National Agency for Academic Exchange. The programme was launched in January 2023 to support Ukraine’s academic community by engaging partner institutions in regular activities under Unite! Erasmus+ in the working area «An Open Innovation Community for Green Transition». Wroclaw Tech is the leader of this area.

Professor Oleg Avrunin, Associate Professors Yana Nosova and Natalia Shushlyapina took part in International Scientific and Practical Conference “Nation’s Health and Improvement of Physical Education and Sports Education” that was held 21-28 April at NTU Kharkiv Polytechnic Institute.

Two reports were presented by the faculty:��“Remote conducting of physical education classes using video content with presence effect” in cooperation with teachers of the Department of Physical Education and Sports, Associate Professor Anna Grokhova and Senior Lecturer Olena Prisich;��“Features of using nasal dilators during physical training”.

Professor of the V.V. Popovskyy Department of Infocommunication Engineering Yevdokymenko M.O., who is a member of the European Advisory Board of the International non-governmental organization Cyber Institute (USA), took part in the meeting of the United Nations Ad Hoc Committee.

The UN meeting was held at the Vienna International Centre (Austria), the third headquarters of the UN.

At each of the events, one of the graduates of the department from previous years will be given the floor, who will share his experience of study, employment and self-development.

All interested parties have the opportunity to ask questions to the speakers, who currently hold leading positions in the world’s well-known IT companies.

Nosova; “Fundamentals of complex rehabilitation of patients with pathologies of the musculoskeletal system” by the author team of A.D. The textbook “Pathology of the Musculoskeletal System” deals with the issues of pathology of the musculoskeletal system, both congenital and acquired, its etiology, pathogenesis, clinical course of diseases of the musculoskeletal system, and highlights the principles of diagnosis and treatment.

Research England has teamed up with Universities UK International (UUKi) to support the Twinning Initiative of twinning universities in Great Britain and Ukraine.

Scientists from the BME Department, in particular, Professor Oleh Avrunin (project coordinator from ���ϲ�����), Senior Lecturer Maksym Tymkovych and PhD student Andrii Sokolov, took part in a workshop on the DAAD Ukraine Digital: OER with Ukraine. This workshop is the second of the masterclasses on creating and editing video content offered within the project. The event was aimed at providing basic recommendations and technical features of video editing. Yevhen Tsymbalenko, Deputy Director for Scientific and Pedagogical Work at the Educational and Research Institute of Journalism at Taras Shevchenko National University of Kyiv, demonstrated how to work with video content processing software for OER. An example was also provided based on the educational content from the Cryomicroscopy Laboratory of the Institute of Multiphase Processes at the Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz University of Hannover based on the results of past research, in which most of the current participants in this project from the BME Department took part. They discussed the possibility of adding an elective course to postgraduate educational and scientific programmes that would focus on the basics of creating open educational resources and conducting appropriate pedagogical practice with OER, which in the future would provide additional learning opportunities for students of all educational levels. This will contribute to the research-based learning approach and the university’s sustainable development goals, in particular, quality education.
