The Design Automation Conference (DAC 63) is a premier global event 鈥 often regarded as the “Olympics” of science and technology 鈥 bringing together top international researchers and leading global companies that shape the NASDAQ index. This year, the conference and exhibition will take place in Long Beach, Southern California.
Natalia Maksymova, a second-year PhD student at the Department of Design Automation (Specialty 123 “Computer Engineering”, supervised by Prof. Volodymyr Hahanov), earned a fellowship grant as a DAC Young Fellow to participate in the 63rd Design Automation Conference, scheduled for July 26鈥29, 2026. Throughout the history of the DAC conference, this marks an unprecedented milestone for young scientists and researchers from Ukraine.
The conference organizing committee received a record-breaking 388 applications for the DAC 2026 Young Fellows program. As highlighted in the committee’s official notification letter, the selection panel was genuinely impressed by Natalia’s application and presentation.
