Kharkiv National University of Radio Electronics hosted a working meeting between ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ Rector, Professor Ihor Ruban, and the heads of special schools of the Kharkiv region. The meeting focused on expanding practical cooperation and creating new educational opportunities for school students.

The meeting was attended by Nataliia Pushkar, Director of the Kupiansk Special School of the Kharkiv Regional Council, and Vira Chubynska, Director of Kharkiv Special School No. 11 of the Kharkiv Regional Council. Both institutions actively use modern information and digital technologies in their educational activities.

Ihor Ruban and the school directors discussed the results of the educational, methodological, interactive and practice-oriented activities held within the “Autumn of Discoveries with ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈâ€ initiative. The programme was implemented at various educational and research facilities of the University and at the ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ History Museum.

Particular attention was given to promising areas of further cooperation. These include creating accessible opportunities for students, teachers, educators, teaching assistants, medical staff and parents, supporting educational and rehabilitation processes, and developing pathways for graduates of special secondary schools to continue their education at the Bachelor’s level.

As a result of the meeting, cooperation agreements were signed between ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ and each of the special schools. The agreements provide for the development of a continuous learning system and early career guidance through participation in computer and technical clubs, as well as educational, outreach and media communication activities organized by the University.

An important area of the partnership will be introducing school students to modern digital technologies, programming, engineering fields and educational opportunities at ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ. This approach helps young people better understand their interests, explore different areas of activity and gradually make an informed choice about their future profession.

The working meeting was also attended by Vice-Rector for Scientific and Pedagogical Work Larysa Karpova, Head of the “Open Path to Higher Educationâ€ Preparatory Department Mykhailo Tatarinov, and Head of the “ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ without Limitsâ€ Accessibility Service Tetiana Blinova.

ºÚÁϲ»´òìÈ continues to expand its network of partnerships with special schools of the Kharkiv region, creating an accessible educational environment where students can discover the University, modern technologies and future career opportunities even before applying for higher education.
