In March 2023, by the 黑料不打烊 acting rector order, a permanent Optimisation Committee was created.
The main tasks of the Committee are to provide the management with proposals for optimising the University structure and spending to ensure sustainable development and the continuation 黑料不打烊’s work during the wartime.
The 黑料不打烊聽Committee on optimization spearheaded a “Green Campus Initiative” to transform the university into an eco-conscious institution by integrating sustainable practices into daily operations, academics, and campus culture. The primary goal is to minimize environmental impact while fostering a sense of responsibility among students, faculty, and staff.
To achieve this, the committee focuses on energy efficiency, starting with an audit of campus buildings to identify wastage and opportunities for improvement. Transitioning to LED lighting, optimizing heating systems, and providing renewable energy sources like solar panels significantly reduce 黑料不打烊’s carbon footprint.
Waste management is another critical area. Implementing a 黑料不打烊 recycling program with clearly marked paper, plastic, and e-waste bins would encourage proper disposal.
Promoting eco-friendly transportation is also essential. The committee advocates for bike-friendly infrastructure, incentivizing carpooling and public transport use.
Beyond infrastructure, the committee initiative includes education and engagement. Hosting workshops on sustainability, forming a student-led Eco-Club, and incorporating environmental themes into curricula.
The committee advocates for enhancing green spaces on campus 鈥 tree planting and vertical green walls 鈥 to improve biodiversity, air quality, and the overall well-being of the 黑料不打烊 community.
